Facial Dermatitis Eczema is a type of skin disorder caused by direct contact of certain substances with the skin of the face. In this type of dermatitis, the skin becomes itchy and there is formation of blistering rashes on the face.
This type of dermatitis is most common among teenagers and middle-aged adults. Generally, females are more prone to such dermatitis compared to males.

The name of diagnostic test for facial dermatitis is True test. It is done with the help of a paper tape. This test is a FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved test.
Doctors interpret the results of the test after 48 hours or after 72 or 96 hours for proper diagnosis. Diagnosis test show positive results if an individual develops redness, mild swelling and blisters on that site of facial skin. With this test, doctors know the particular chemical dermatitis that has occurred in the individual. Accordingly, they may treat individuals for this type of dermatitis.
Most common cause for this facial type of dermatitis is cosmetics and fragrances. There are other substances responsible for causing such type of dermatitis such as hair dyes, hair sprays, and shampoos. Other causative agents are sun blocks, facial masks, rubber sponges, balloons, children toys, and some types of topical medications.
Best way to treat facial dermatitis is by preventing its reoccurrence. Individuals need to avoid those chemical substances causing such type of dermatitis and accordingly, go for medications.
